There are many people who have stickers on their cars for a variety of reasons. Some places such as work, or apartments require you to change your sticker every year or couple of years. It can be quite annoying to get those stickers off without leaving a nasty mark. Here’s how you can peel those stickers off easily.
- Window Cleaner – Window Cleaner is one of the oldest tricks in the book. All you need to do is spray window cleaner on the sticker. After spraying window cleaner on the sticker, use a razor blade and pull the sticker up slowly. Keep repeating this process until the sticker is off your car. Be careful not to scratch your windshield.
- Rubbing Alcohol – This method is similar to using window cleaner. If you don’t have window cleaner handy, use rubbing alcohol. The process is the same, apply rubbing alcohol to the sticker and chip at it with a razor blade. Repeat until the sticker is off the windshield.
- Ice – Get an ice pack. Keep it pressed over the sticker for a few minutes. This will cool off the adhesive. Afterward, take your handy razor blade and remove the sticker.
- WD-40 – Rip off as much of the sticker as you can. When you can’t remove any more of the sticker, spray WD-40 on it. Let it soak for a couple of minutes and then use a damp cloth to wipe the rest off the rest of the sticker.
Be careful while removing stickers. If you use a razor blade, you must be careful not to scratch your windshield. Set aside an hour to remove the sticker or stickers. Don’t expect to remove them in five minutes or you’ll be frustrated. If you get frustrated, leave and take a breather for a couple of minutes. You need to be precise and calm while removing a sticker.
